I use this occasionally because a tiny amount will quickly heal minor injuries and it is gentle on the skin, similar to the more pleasant smelling natural moisturizers. The odor reminds me of sardines but I don't think it has any animal ingredients. It leaves behind a lingering spicy odor as the oils absorb into the skin. I have the 16 ounce pump bottle dated 2023 that somone gave me. It's more than I will use in my lifetime because I use a tiny amount only when necessary. It's a thick oily brown liquid with a strong odor AND the pump dispenser squirts it out uncontrollably, so be careful where you use it to avoid a mess.
Thank you for the interesting review. Miracle Lotion was unavailable for a while, apparently since the date of the bottle you possess, and we were told that they were updating their formula. It now comes in a tube and the lotion is a lovely white color. I contains no fragrances, but does have myrrh oil, sandlewood oil, ginger oil, peppermint oil, and cinnamon bark oil, which gives it a light herbal/spicy scent, but it doesn't linger for very long after it's rubbed in. Since it's in a tube, there is no mess or fuss when dispensing it. It is a completely vegan formula and one of our best sellers! We would encourage you to try an updated version. Best wishes!
